There are around 2009 college men’s basketball teams placed in six different division levels: NCAA Division 1, Division 2 and Division 3, NAIA  D1, NAIA D2 and JUCO. Here is a list of all teams and scholarships limit per team:

NCAA DIVISION 1: Teams- 353, Average Team size- 16, Scholarships Limit Per Team- 13

NCAA DIVISION 2: Teams- 313, Average Team Size- 17, Scholarships Limit Per Team- 10

NCAA DIVISION 3: Teams- 446, Average Team Size- 18, Scholarships Limit Per Team --

NAIA D1: Teams- 93, Average Team Size- 20, Scholarships Limit Per Team- 11

NAIA D2: Teams- 137, Average Team Size- 21, Scholarships Limit Per Team- 6

JUCO: Teams- 430, Average Team Size- 15, Scholarships Limit Per Team- 15
